| Membership is open to community groups/organisations
which fulfil all of the following criteria: |

Have a constitution; |
| |
Are locally managed and locally accountable; |
| |
Are situated and active within one or more communities
physically located at an interface between nationalist
and unionist segregated communities (as outlined
briefly in the appendix); |
 |
| |
Are actively addressing one or more
of the following issues within a context that recognises
the need to build capacity both within and between
interface communities as key elements within these
tasks: |
| |
- social, economic and environmental disadvantage;
|
| |
- intercommunity tension, intimidation and violence; |
| |
- restricted access to facilities and services
perceived as being located within the ‘other’
community; |
 |
